2017 Piper Super Cub PA-18-135

Overview
NEW PRICE!

This Super Cub clone is a unique and inexpensive way to own a relatively new Super Cub with only 80 TT, 444 SMOH and a Useful Load over 750 lbs. It is configured as an early model PA-18-135, with the Lycoming O-290 engine, but with wooden spar, ribs, and no flaps. It’s loaded with modern features; Left and Right clam-shell doors, Seaplane fuselage fitting (lift, floats and rigging), aft fuselage baggage area, 4 point Shoulder Harnesses, 36 gal fuel, tilt away engine mount, skylight, Flight Line 760 radio, Transponder, encoder, intercom, Spring Shocks (no shock cords), built in storage areas in the forward right and Left sidewalls, 60 Amp alternator, Sky-Tec Starter, Left E-mag, Nav & Taxi Lights, Fiberglass wingtips, and Odyssey battery!

It was built in Iowa, and the builder flew it for 6 years in which he completed the Phase I fly-off period. Unfortunately, the builder passed away, and his estate removed the wings and sold it as a project. The subsequent buyer, an A&P from Minnesota, reassembled the plane over the Winter of 2024, and then donated it to us in late 2025, because he was relocating to AZ

Please take a look at the Photo Builders Log (about 100 photos), detailed engine history in the logbook summary, logbook scans and current photos: https://aircraft.wingsofhope.ngo/aircraft-for-sale/2017-experimental-super-cub/
