Once you are done marveling... say hello to one of the best and most decked out Vans RV-14A builds on the planet! The current owner is a Canadian Professional Engineer. He was the primary builder of the aircraft and began the project with the goal to fly it around the world on a formal Earth Rounders trip launching from EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026. While he made the trip to OSH, given the current geo-political climate he has decided to put the round-the-world plans on hold and part ways with the plane. The total cost of this build was over $375K USD, without any labor costs considered. Initial 25 hours of flight testing was conducted and completed in April 2026 from EA Structures at Chilliwack Airport in British Columbia. Since then the owner has made several training and personal flights including the AirVenture trip. It is currently hangar kept in Phillipsburg, OH while listed for sale. Until under contract, the seller will be flying it on his regular visits with his daughter who lives and works in Dayton, thus flight hours may increase slightly while on-market. This build is a thing of beauty and is impressive in every way. The aircraft is available not only to Canadian buyers but to buyers in the US and beyond as well. The straightforward import process is supported every step of the way. Price is in USD. Enjoy amazing and cost-effective Experimental ownership with this incredible Vans RV-14A, without all the time consuming effort of building it yourself! |

Damage Notes: Following initial completion of the project in May 2025, the seller attempted a post-construction maiden flight. From a height of 10-20 feet AGL, the seller noted that the aircraft was not making ample power and attempted to land on the remaining runway. The landing was nosewheel first followed by subsequent oscillations, a runway excursion, and damage to the aircraft. Since the May 2025 incident, it was determined that the ignition system that was shipped to him was faulty. That issue was corrected and no damaged part was repaired. Each and every damaged part was replaced with an original part from the Van's Aircraft factory. Final finishing touches were then made with the assistance of EA Structures, a renowned and quality build center in British Columbia. |
