| Reliable, load carrying, high-performance Midwest based 1977 Piper Lance PA-32R-300 with upgraded Garmin IFR and nice cosmetics. 7723.8 TT, 997.6 SMOH (by Poplar Grove in 2016), 525 since 3 blade prop overhaul. The Lycoming IO-540 is a non-turbo engine with a solid 2,000 TBO. The 1977 Lances, with the normal tail (not a "T" Tail) provide much better soft & short field performance since the stabilator remains effective in the prop blast. The avionics have been updated with a Garmin 530W showing weather & traffic, ADS-B In/Out Transponder and 2 Garmin G5s for Attitude Indicator and Horizontal Situation Indicator, Century III Auto-Pilot with altitude hold and navigation coupled to the 530W, and an EDM 830 graphic Engine Analyzer with Fuel Flow. The useful load is over 1400 lbs and the leather club seating allows quick changes for carrying up to 6 people or bulky cargo. The plane was repainted in 2001 and then it was refreshed in 2019, along with new Windshields (exterior rated 7). The interior is rated 6, front seats have a weathered leather appeatance but no rips or tears and the carpet is older. The PA+32R-300s' 65% performance cruise is shown as 172 mph @ 8.000' & 16 gph. Economy cruise is shown as 163 mph @ 6.000' & 13.8 gph (GAMI injectors). Fuel capacity is 94 gallons in 2, easily manageable (right & left) selections. The Annual inspection was completed in April 2025. The current 4 partners have decided that their flying missions have changed and it's time to put the Lance up for sale.
